If you have installed interspire email marketer on ubuntu 14.04, you might notice that the automated cron based bounce processing isn’t working. This is despite the successful of bounce settings test. In your interspire log you may see this error message
/var/www/html/admin/cron/bounce.php::20 -- IMAP module not found for PHP CLI in /var/www/html/admin/cron/bounce.php at 20
To fix that you have to enable php imap module, which is disabled by default even if you have installed it with
apt-get install php5-imap. To enable the module, run
php5enmod imap. Next time your cronjob runs, interspire will login to the bounce mailbox and retrieve the bounce emails for eventual processing.
